What hours must I call to talk to an operator personally?
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time; otherwise, you
may leave a message, or e-mail your
instructions to
mailservice@escapees.com. Now, for your convenience, we offer the option to
change your mail-forwarding instructions online through the members-only
area of
our website.

Can I call to check on what mail is currently in my box?
Yes, we will be happy to check for a specific piece of mail or go
through all your first-class mail.

Are other personal services available?
Yes, we will read a letter over the phone, check for a specific piece
of mail, or look up a general delivery zip code.

Are there extra charges for personal services?
We do not charge extra for special services.

What are the annual rates?
There are three categories ranging from $85 to $125 depending on how
customized you want your service to be. Also, a small enrollment fee and a
postage deposit are required.

Are there any additional fees such as a per-piece or volume charge?
No, we have no hidden charges.

How often do you forward my mail?
You may select your own schedule, Monday through Friday, or you may set
up a regular schedule on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly basis. You may also opt to
have your mail held until you call or email or use the website to provide
forwarding instructions.

Will you sort mail to my specific instructions?
Yes. We forward all first-class mail. You may give us a list detailing
which magazines, catalogs, etc. you want forwarded. This service falls under our
elevated service option and costs $125 per year.

What classes of mail do you accept?
All classes, including packages, certified, and registered mail.

Is there an additional charge for handling packages?
Yes, $.75 for regular packages. $1.00 if a package is too large to fit
in your file; then it must be recorded and held in a separate area.

How is my mail sent?
Mail can be forwarded via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. If you select
FedEx, we offer overnight, 2-day, and 3-day Express Saver services at
special discounted rates.

Can I join the mail service without joining the Escapees RV Club?
No, only current members of the Escapees RV club are eligible to join
the mail service.

What postal form is required?
You must complete Postal Form 1583. This form gives Escapees Mail
Service the right to act as your mail-receiving agent. Identification is
required in order to prevent people from using an assumed name.

What will my address be?
You will be assigned a street address and a personal mail box (PMB)
number after we receive all required forms.

How long does it take to receive my mail?
Allow 3-5 days to receive priority mail, although it is not a
guarantee. First class mail may take 7-10 days.

Do you have refrigeration available for medicine or perishable items
I may receive?
No, refrigerated and/or perishable items must be sent to another
address.
