| YOU HAVE BEEN CLASSIFIED 1-A! As such, we both request and require your participation in our RVer’s Boot Camp program. This program will provide fundamentals for road safety, technical proficiency, and confidence for all RVers. As a Boot Camp trainee, you will be encouraged and required to attend a series of eight seminars on all aspects of RVing. Here, you will learn critical RVing skills in a fast paced and fun environment. Those who complete all eight sessions will be awarded a special graduate badge, and earn the right to participate in the PANEL OF EXPERTS! During the Panel, trainees will be given an opportunity to ask any and all questions of the Boot Camp instructors. Upon completion of the program, you can “Stand Tall”, knowing that your RV knowledge will stand the tests of life on the road. What you need to know about the Escapees RVer’s Boot Camp Program We chose the “Boot Camp” theme because it describes an intense and highly efficient training program designed to teach you what you NEED to know without a lot of fluff. That’s exactly what we do for each and every trainee! Escapees RVers’ Boot Camp trainers are recognized industry experts - RVSEF is dedicated to the improvement of recreation vehicle safety, with a focus on education. They provide RV tire and weight safety classes, weigh thousands of RVs at rallies across the country, and offer educational materials covering a wide range of safety-related topics.
- Mac McCoy has 33 years of fire safety experience, a BS degree in Fire Science, and a Masters degree in Fire Administration. Mac has taught firefighting skills and techniques to RVers, military personnel, firefighters, and law enforcement, both in the United States and abroad.
- Dennis Hill is the owner of the RV School, which has been teaching RVers to drive their RVs since 1991. RV School instructors teach driving skills and confidence with private one-on-one lessons behind the wheel of the student’s RV.
- Mark Nemeth is the Escapees technical advisor and Boot Camp program director and has been answering RVers’ technical questions via his RV resource site and RV industry publications for more than 10 years.
