Chapter 15 Sunseekers

Chapter 15 welcomes all SKP's who live in or visit Florida. The Florida Sunseekers was formed in 1986 to foster the development of a Florida SKP Co-op. It has since evolved into a social chapter. The Sunseekers are a bit unique in that the majority of attendees at its rallies are SKP's from outside Florida, seeking to escape from the cold nothern winters.

Escapees Florida Gatherings for Lunch:

2010 Escapees Chapters 15 & 27 Fall Rally

On Monday November 8th rigs will start arriving at a brand new RV Resort that recently opened in Bushnell Fl. We plan to kick off the Rally with a Hot Dog Social on Monday from 11AM-2PM. The Rally will end with a hitch-up breakfast on Sunday November 14th. Registration will continue on Tuesday until 2PM.

We have set aside seventy-five sites at a special rate of only $23/night. These sites have concrete pads, 30/50 AMP, Water and Sewer. Their website [ Paradise Oaks RV Resort] is www.theparadiseoaks.com They have everything from card rooms to swimming pools, hot tubs, billiards, golf etc..etc.. . Their huge commercial kitchen and beautiful club house will make this rally very special.

We are planning to have several seminars, a Red Hat Lunch, Pet Parade, Ice Cream Social, Flea Market at the RV’s, Silent Auction for C.A.R.E., Entertainment, Dancing Lessons, Travel Log of the Maritimes, Crafts, Games, Cards, Local Tours, 50/50’s and of course our very special Veterans Day Ceremony as in the past.

A number of meals are being planned during the week and we will have our daily afternoon social and a pot luck or two. And how about some Hobo Stew and Eggs in the Bag? Only Florida SKPs know what that’s about!

We will keep the Rally Fees at $20 per person for the entire rally.

This Rally is open to ALL Escapees and their Friends. However, be aware that when we sell out the sites that we have reserved, folks may be turned away.

We encourage anyone planning on attending this rally to call the Resort ASAP at 352-793-1823 and make a reservation. Please be sure to tell them you are attending the Escapee Rally. A credit card is needed and you will be charged $23 if you do not show up and cancel before November 8th. Other than that, it cost you $0 to reserve.

As we get closer to our Rally we will keep you posted via email as to the actual events that we have planned.
