Chapter 16’s October 2010 Rally


Dates: Arrive on Thursday, October 7, 2010

Leave on Sunday, October 10, 2010

Where: Twin Oaks RV Park, 305 Hwy 26 E., Elko, GA 31025. (One tenth of a mile East of I-75, at Exit 127). Email: www.twinoaksrvpark.com or info@twinoaksrvpark.com. All sites are FHU, with most having 50 amp, although some are 30 amp. We will have sole use of the building. They also have a pool, hot tub and free WiFi.

Cost: $22.00 per night. Passport America rates only apply to nights before and after the rally.

Thursday: 4 o’clock social hour.

Dinner on your own.

Friday: Breakfast and lunch on your own.

4 o’clock social hour.

We will go out to eat (restaurant to be named later). Birthday cake desserts to follow at campground.

Saturday: Breakfast. Tentatively we will have “A-H” bring a breakfast item to share.

10 AM: Meeting followed by craft for women.

Lunch on your own.

4 o’clock social hour.

A turkey and ham dinner will be provided by Twin Lakes. The following will please bring dishes to share – Tentatively we will have “I – P” bring veggies) and “Q-Z” salads.

Sunday: Breakfast of coffee, tea and donuts.



Activities: Fair at the Fairgrounds 8 miles north. Tours are available: Lane Southern Orchid, Museum of Aviation at Robbins AFB, and Andersonville National Historic Site.
