Escapees RV Club Chapter 30 Red River Rovers

The Red River Rovers were formed on November 19th, 1990. The group started with a small but determined group of Escapees who wanted to form a chapter from the North Texas/Oklahoma area. The first meeting was held on 11/19/90 at Wyatt's Cafeteria, in Garland, Texas. Twenty-six people attended the first meeting and Chapter 30 has continued to grow since that time. Chapter 30 was formed due to the fact that SKP Chapter rallies were quite a distance from the North Texas/Oklahoma area. The second meeting held on Dec 17, 1990 and the group was officially named "Red River Rovers", appropriately for the river that provides the border for Texas and Oklahoma!! Chapter 30 has held rallies all around Texas and Oklahoma including Paradise, TX, Chico, TX, Mineola, TX, Colbert, OK, San Antonio, TX, and on and on. There are some great places to hold rallies in North Texas and Oklahoma and we hope that you will come join us if you ever pass our way. We hold a fund raiser for C.A.R.E. in March and a fund raiser for charity at Christmas. We hope you can take part in our caring, fun loving group of people.
Our upcoming rally schedule is published in the regular Escapees magazine and anyone is welcome to visit us. We hope you will join us and help our Chapter 30 continue to grow as it has since it's inception in 1990. May we meet some of you on the Highway to Happiness?
