------ Special Request From the Chapter President
Folks in central Oregon (Madras - Bend area) and Salem have asked if Chapter 34 had any meetings in their areas. I have had some informal discussions with a few folks in the Chapter about holding an additional meeting in these areas each year. We are willing to make a trip to the Salem and Central Oregon areas (one per year to each area) to help with a local meeting. We need someone in the area to take the lead in arranging a meeting place for the meeting. A lunch meeting during the week or on Saturday would be fine.
How many members of Chapter would attend a meeting in the Salem or Madras-Bend area? I'm thinking one a year in the spring or fall in each area. Have them e-mail me at dcstew@msn.com: On Subject line"Chapter 34 Meeting". Susie and Denny Orr said they would help get the word out when we get a location and date.
