Welcome to Erie Shores Chapter #36 website. Our home area is Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Western New York. We welcome each of you to join Chapter #36, as an Escapee member. Whether a couple, single or family, no matter what size camper you are in, whether you are a full timer or just enjoy weekend camping, we welcome you.
We have tried to include as much information about our chapter as possible. The Chapter #36 Erie Shores Waves newsletter is sent out three times a year to active members to help keep you informed of our club and other Escapee activities and events. If/when you receive the Chapter #36 newsletter, don't forget to check the annual roster to see if you need to renew your registration which entitles you to continue to receive the newsletter. You can receive the newsletter by e-mail (contact me at sheets247@windstream.net (subject line Chapter #36) with the e-mail address you prefer) or by snail mail (let me know which address you prefer/which months at each (if you have more than one). Annual dues are $5.00 per year, and to help keep accounting to a minimum, it is helpful if you can pay several years in advance when possible. Spring 2010 Rally
will be held June 11 through 13, 2010 at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Wooster, Ohio. Hosts will be Clyde and Barbara McKenzie and Bob & Jane Lewis. The fairgrounds are located just off Route 30. From I-71, travel East on US 30, approximately 26 miles. From I-77, travel West on US 30, approximately 35 miles. There are signs directing you to the fairgrounds on US 30. There are dumping facilities at the fairgrounds.
Tri-Rally 2010 -hosts Chapter 36!
will be held June 24,2010 - June 27, 2010 in VanWert, Ohio. Hosts will be Vic & Taree Schrubb and Butch & Doe Rummel.
Chapter #36 Fall Rally, 2009
will be held August 26 through 29 - also at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. Hosts will be Ron & Linda Fleeger and Don Fischer.

Escapade 2010!
will be held September 12 - September 17, 2010 at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds in Goshen, Indiana. More information to follow.
Please Note: A Multi Chapter Rally
will be held April 29, 2010 - May 3, 2010. All Escapees are welcome. The park has 300 sites. Marion, North Carolina, is located east of Ashville, NC, just off I-40 and clcose to Piegon Forge, Dollywood, Blue Ridge Parkway - one of the most beautiful roads in Eastern U.S. For more information about this rally, contact Bryan@theramblingroses.com or call 404-229-5187.
Erie Shores Chapter #36 Minutes August 22, 2009
Escapees Chapter #36 business meeting was called to order August 22, 2009 at 11am by President, Jim Staudacher, with 89 members present. A moment of silence was held for ill members and for our service men who keep us safe, The Pledge to the Flag followed. Officer roll call was taken; all were present except Vice President, Brian Duke.
Introduction of Guests and VCR – President, Jim, welcomed new members and guests. Bernie & Carol Patton were introduced as VCR's. Bernie introduced new members, John & Jane Dawson, SKP #104061. Latest SKP # is 104066.
Meeting Minutes – Minutes of the June Rally were read; with correction: Tom Garver & Becky Battig will assist Vic & Taree Shrubb and Butch & Doe Rummel in hosting the Tri rally in June 2010.
Treasurer’s Report – Treasurer, Randy Hook, reported expenses: $2389.79; income: $3141.85; balance: $4870.83. Randy reported sending CARE a total of $15,500.00; we received our 15th patch.
Old Business – nominating committee chairman, Vic Shrubb, presented a slate of officers: President, Jim Staudacher; Vice President, Randy Hook; Secretary, Jane Lewis; Treasurer, Barbara McKenzie. President Jim asked for nominations from the floor. Vic Shrubb motioned to accept the slate of officers, it was seconded by Doe Rummel and motion passed.
Vic Shrubb reported the 2010 Tri Rally will be held in Van Wert at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds June 24 through 27, 2010. Hosts will be Vic & Taree Shrubb, Butch & Doe Rummel and Tom Garver & Becky Battig. Camping fee will be $14.00 a night with all sites guaranteed 30 amp’s electric. The kitchen and building is included in this price. Chapter #6 would like to thank Chapters #36 & #51 for all their help in donations to CARE. Chapter #6 is close to donating $40,000, and they will make it before the Tri-Rally. Joe and Kay Peterson promised to be there if we reach our goal of $40,000.
June 11 thru 13, 2010 Rally will be at Wayne County Fairgrounds and hosts will be Clyde & Barbara McKenzie and Bob & Jane Lewis. There will be a choice of Steak or Chicken dinner on Saturday night.
Aug 26 through 29, 2010 will be a 4-day rally and hosts will be Ron & Linda Fleeger and Don & Diana Fischer at Wayne County Fairgrounds in Wooster, Ohio – further information to follow at a later date.
New Business – Denny and Susie Orr stated they had a great time at the rally.
Sunshine Report – Barb Knittel reported sending no cards since June. She sent two cards around for everyone to sign.

Erie Shores Chapter #36 Minutes of Meeting of Aug 22, 2009, continued
Rally Report – Bob Rossey reported 54 RV's and 106 people were at the rally. He announced dinner would be at 5pm sharp; costume judging would be during that time. He encouraged people to sign-up for afternoon games and to bring money for a "Special CARE Auction"; he announced the evening entertainment would be at 7pm.
Several people brought things to be auctioned off for CARE following dinner. The table auction for CARE brought in $355.50; the auction for CARE brought in $217.00.
Hosts Bob & Vikki Rossey and Dave & Debbie Sheetz were thanked for a great rally.
Doe Rummel requested registering for rallies in advance if possible, as it helps the hosts when planning the food.
President Jim Staudacher adjourned the meeting.
