Our luncheons are held on the first and third Weds.of the month at 11:30 A.M. and will begin on Weds. Nov. 3rd, 2010 and continue through March. We are moving or should we say our restaurant is moving. We will meet at Mickey D's Restaurant at 1408 W. Apache Trail in Apache Jct. Plenty of parking and a larger meeting room but the same good food at a good price and the same great staff. From Hwy 60 take the Ironwood exit (#195)and go north to the Trail. Turn right and the restaurant is on the North side across from Food City.

Mark your calendars for October 28th - 31st for our Fall Rally in Wilcox, AZ at the Grande Vista RV Park, 711 Prescott Ave. Wilcox, AZ. Our rally trail bosses are Gene and Shirley Christiansen (480-474-0484 or gchris1033@yahoo.com) and Bob and Sherran Doobovsky (714-832-2402 or thedoobovskys@yahoo.com). Contact them if you have any questions or to receive a registration for the rally. Just a reminder that the cut-off date for registering is Sept. 27th. Rally fee is $88.00 for couple and 78.00 for single. This includes your site, all sites pull through with 30/50 amp and full hookups, plus 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts with coffee provided every morning. There are a lot of things to see and do in the area and time is alotted to tour on your own. We will have a speaker Thursday evening who will highlight places to visit as well as local history of settlers and Apache raids. The theme for the rally is western, so bring your finest duds for our Saturday evening Western Costume Contest. Dress up like any storied character or just your western duds...be creative. Bring a nice white elephant for our CARE auction on Saturday evening, snacks to share at social hours, although you don't want to ruin your dinner on any of the days, looks like we're having pizza and salad on Thursday, dinner at the Elks Club on Friday and bring a potluck item to share, with the Pork Roast dinner on Saturday evening.You know we SKP's love to eat! There will be plenty to keep you busy and if you don't have a rig you can call Gene Christiansen for a special motel rate. So let's all move 'em out and head on into Wilcox for a great time, sure sounds like they have one planned. You can even bring a friend. They don't have to be a member of Chapter 45 or even a SKP. Just another note, if arriving before Oct. 28th, you need to call the park for a reservation and be prepared for cooler weather as Wilcox elevation is 4200 feet.
