Chapter 46 Spring Rally 2009 Announcement
When: May 15th, 16th and 17th 2009
Where: The new location is still on Lake Carlyle but at the McNair Group Camping Area. McNair was not available at the time we chose the Boulder location but a recent cancellation has made it available.
Rally fee: The rally fee will be $75. This includes the camping fee, catered meal, and other activities. .
Camping fee: Sites are available on first come basis ( $14 per night) for early arrivals or late departures provided the group area has not been reserved.
We have reserved 32 sites for May 15, 16, and 17th. All are paved and have electric. Water is available and a shower house and dump station are in the campground.
There are also 2 shelters available for our use, an important factor considering the time of year and possibility of rain. The campground is only 2 miles from town as opposed to 14 miles for Boulder..
We are expecting a larger than normal attendance as this rally will be followed by a rolling rally to the 2009 Escapade in Sedalia, Missouri, which will be on May 24th to May 29th. The rolling rally is still in the planning stages by Bob Tirk.

By your attendance at this event you are agreeing to the following:
As an attendee, you assume all risk and danger relating to your personal property, RV, and attendance at this Chapter Event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event. In the event of loss or theft, no claim will be made upon Escapees, its volunteers, employees, or agents. Volunteers may be directing and assisting you in your parking areas. It is, however, the driver of the RV or other vehicle who is ultimately responsible for avoiding obstacles or dangerous situations and is solely responsible for any damages to their property or the property of others. As an attendee at this event, you are granting your permission to be filmed, videotaped, audio taped, or photographed, and granting full use without compensation
The 2009 Escapade will be in Sedalia, Missouri on May 24th to 29th.
It is our intention to do a Rolling Rally to Sedalia in 2009; much like we did to Gillette, WY, in 2008. These dates will give us 5 day to get to Sedalia. Anyone with ideas for the trip, where to visit, where to camp, etc., contact the Wagon Master, Jim Morlock or Bob Tirk

Meeting Called to Order: President Dave Benson called meeting to order at 4:10 pm. He welcomed everyone & thanked them for coming. He introduce Donna Bellovics to tell her good and funny joke stories. We enjoyed her stories and we all got our daily laugh. Thanks Donna ! Secretary's Report: Report was read by secretary Jo Evelyn Boyer. Doug Elliot made motion to accept report as read. Second by Donna Bellovics. Treasurer's Report: Report was read by Gary Dodson. Reported starting balance of $2,397.60. Income $1514.00. Outgoing $463.42. Audit 9-27-08 by Ray Powell and Ron Wragstrom was signed an approved. MOtion made by Doug Elliott and second by Donna Bellovics. $180.00 went to care. Vice President Report: No Report News Letter Report: No Report VCR: VCRs will not to be selling much longer at the Escapees Rallys. Get what you want now. Wagon Master Report: Jim Morlock reports the Spring Rally will be at Corp of Engineer Park at Boulder on Carlyle Lake, Illinois. Make sure you go to Boulder on the Lake. Everyone is get their own camping spot. The phone # is 1-618-226-3586. The dates of the Rally are May 15-17, 2009. The Escapade 2009 will be at Sedalia, Missouri following the Spring Rally. Dates are May 24-29, 2009. There is a Rolling Ralley going to Sedalia, Missouri from the Spring Rally. Further details will be given at a later date concerning the Rolling Ralley. Old Business: None New Business: Discussion on E-mail. Everyone has e-mail but maybe 14 people. The ones who have e-mail will receive their News Letter by E-mail. Those who do not have e-mail will receive their News Letter in the mail.
