Our Chapter was organized on April 21, 1997 to provide a framework for members of the Escapees RV Club and to make new friends through organized rallies and other announced social activities. We have friendly members that are waiting for you to come to our functions to give you SKP Hugs!
We hold our meetings/luncheons on the first Tuesday of every month from March to December at the Country Waffle in Redding, CA at 11:30am. There has been some discussion at our meetings about having informal/social luncheons in January and February, on the first Tuesday, for the members that could not go to Quartzsite, AZ during those months.
Our rallies are from April to October. Everyone is welcome at these gatherings even if you aren't a member of Chapter #47.
From the Chapter President: Welcome to Chapter #47 Norcal Gypsies website. Our objective is to enjoy RVing to its fullest with other RV enthusiasts. The Chapter is eleven years old and still retains several charter members. The members range from full timers (that visit us when they are in the area) to us part-timers. Our vehicles range from small camper units, trailers, 5th wheels and Class A & C motor homes. Our activities are monthly luncheons and rallies. We are a very pet friendly group.
Each year we have joint rallies with Chapter #37. You can see pictures and information regarding our Chapter and Chapter #37 on www.RVecafe.com. For 2010 we are planning to have joint rallies with other Escapee chapters.
So, if you’re looking for a Chapter to join or an Escapee traveling through our area stop by and visit us.
It's that time of the year again! Renewal!
