Indiana Chapter 51 was established on July 22, 2005 with a Rally at Pla-Mor Campground located in Bremen, IN. We not only had Indiana residents but some from surrounding states as well. Anyone who is interested in attending or belonging to our chapter is welcome. We will be meeting at least 2 to 3 times a year and the dues are $8 yearly or $32 for 5 years, payable on or before August 1 of each year.

Polly Miller, our new Chapter Newsletter Editor, would love to feature special dates like anniversaries or birthdays. She needs this info to be able to print it in our Newsletter. President’s View

I hope everyone is doing well. Stan & I are enjoying ourselves down here in Florida even though it has been colder than normal. Here it is March 1st and the weatherman is predicting another colder than normal week with temps in the 50’s the next few days. At least we don’t have to worry about snow and ice.

Spring will be here shortly and many of us who are out of Indiana for the winter will start heading back. I hope all of you keep our rallies in mind while making plans for this year. Stan & I are planning on going to the Eastern Multi-Chapter Rally in Marion, NC, April 29th-May 3rd. If you are looking for someplace to go, it should be a fun rally.

Susie Orr, National Chapter Director, has been in Georgetown, Indiana this winter for scheduled surgery on her left wrist again. It has not gone well for her due to an infection.
She is to have surgery again March 19th. If anyone wishes to send their best to her, her address is Susie Orr, c/o Sean Orr, 4272 Evan Jacobi Rd, Georgetown, IN 47122.

We are already working a little on our rally in June at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds in Warsaw. I hope a lot of you are planning to come. It is always so much fun to visit with everyone and catch up with what we have been doing..

Details are in for the April 29, 2010 Eastern Multi-Chapter Rally to be held in Marion, North Carolina. Marion is just east of the Asheville area in beautiful western North Carolina. Bryan Rose is hosting this rally and already has a great agenda in the works including a Biltmore Estates tour. Those returning from their winter roost next spring might consider heading to western North Carolina on their way home. Rally Link.

Betty & Stan Bober had the wonderful opportunity of working the Escapees Booth at this year's Tampa Super RV Show. We teamed with Lon & Carolyn VanOstran and had a great time recruiting new members and writing renewals for present members. We were pleased to see a huge turn-out at this years show. On the last day of the show, we saw a slew of "Sold" signs at many dealer displays. We were located with the indoor vendors and we can attest to these vendors selling tons of products. This is hopefully a telling sign that the RV industry is making a comeback. We're all rooting for a great 2010!

Spring Rally - Chapter 51 June 3 - 6, 2010 - Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, Warsaw, IN.
The rally starts June 3rd Thursday and after registration, we're planning an eat-out at Golden Corral. We have a nice building reserved for Friday & Saturday but no agenda? Maybe you can e-mail Betty or Stan some ideas? We've looked at a Lake Wawasee dinner cruise and the boat is beautiful with climate controlled indoor seating and open air outdoor seating, but it's $35@ - $70 per couple. It's about a 2 hour dinner cruise. We would have to share the boat with the public. Pretty expensive but something different. E-mail us your thoughts. .
