Welcome to the Escapees RV Club Chapter 6 website. Our chapter was organized for the purpose of providing a framework for members of the Escapees Club to make new friends through organized rallies and other announced social activities. We have three chapter-sponsored rallies each summer. We Care & Share. Chapter 6 was the first chapter to be honored for contributing $10,000 to CARE. For this honor, a street was named for Chapter 6 in the CARE area at Rainbow's End. At the September 2009 Rally, Chapter 6 celebrated its 25th anniversary and surpassed $40,000 in donations to CARE. The best part is we had so much fun while raising the donations at special events like auctions, raffles and games at all our rallies.

Quartzsite Loose Gathering
Bunny and Bruce Ratcliff will anchor the annual Chapter 6 gathering during the RV Show in Quartzsite, Arizona. Bunny and Bruce inform us that they will arrive and stake out the site around January 16, 2012. There is plenty to do in Quartzsite: museum, shopping, exploring ghost towns, chasing General Patton's history, loads of geocaching, and every day winds down with social hour beginning at 4:00 pm (or sometimes a bit earlier) and campfire every evening. If you can, PLEASE BRING FIREWOOD. Remember this is a loose gathering and not a rally. There are no fees, there are no minutes, agendas are created spontaneously, but legends and stories are passed along by way of oral tradition (sort of like big fish stories).
Directions: About four miles north of Quartzsite, look for Plomosa Road heading toward Bouse, Arizona. Turn right (east) on to Plomosa Road and go about 2.5 to 3 miles and look for the Chapter 6 pie plate signs on the left (north) side of Plomosa Road. Bunny and Bruce usually try to stake out the same location every year, but it is the desert and there are no reservations and very few rules. If some other group is already occupying the spot, then Bunny and Bruce have to stake out another area. We will update after Bunny and Bruce park with the details. And as always: Look for the 5th Wheel with the CANOE ON TOP.
