You need to send periodic newsletters to the members. We recommend a quarterly publication that includes:

• Reports of past rallies, as this information is not published in Escapees magazine, and it stimulates interest.
• Detailed information on future rallies. Be sure to give adequate directions for getting there and an agenda.
• Mailbag news: Call it anything other than "Road Roamer News" to avoid confusion with the national magazine. This section will help your members keep in touch with each other as they travel.
• An update of your roster.

General interest items that would benefit all Escapees should go to Escapees magazine, but you can include recommended local services and campgrounds in your own publication. Let your chapter newsletter cover items of specific regional interest. Send one copy of your chapter letter to National and one directly to the chapter directors.
