DOWs (Diabetics of Wheels) BOF

Escapees BOF (Birds of a Feather) groups are comprised of people who share a common interest. In order to belong to a BOF, one must be a member in good standing of the Escapees RV Club.

A group of diabetics and those traveling with a diabetic. We share eating and dieting tips (like how to maintain your eating plan at all the wonderful Escapee potlucks!) Sharing how you are controlling your diabetes rather than have diabetes control you and still live and enjoy the RV lifestyle. No medical advice.

We meet at Escapades. We keep in touch and share tips by way of a Yahoo Group. The Yahoo list is unpublished and can only be accessed by moderated subscription to prevent spammers and ensure all are Escapee members. To request membership you need a Yahoo ID on the internet. This is free and fairly easy, go to groups.yahoo.com and follow the prompts. PocketMail users must first use a computer to access the internt to establish a Yahoo ID. Then send an e-mail with your name and SKP# to SKPBOFDOWs-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
