Camp Re-Boot!
The Geeks on Tour and Escapees RV Club have partnered together to offer Camp Re-Boot, an intensive, two-day, hands-on computer workshop in Sedalia, MO, just prior to the 52nd Escapade, September 14 - 16, 2012. Chris and Jim Guld designed this intensive computer training session especially with RVers in mind and have limited the participants to just 15 folks. Don't delay as the workshop is limited to only 15 folks! ($139.00 for a single or couple with one laptop using Windows 7 or Vista - sorry, no XP or Macintosh.) Arrive early!
There's lots of fun to be had just prior to Escapade. Even though the event is not officially opened until Sunday, and some folks are busy with volunteer staff chores, you can get to know your neighbors early! See the early-bird parking options at: Registration information

Evening entertainment!
The main event officially begins on Sunday (September 16) with "First-Timers orientation", followed by opening ceremonies. After Sunday evening Door Prize drawings, you will be entertained by renowned comedian Yakov Smirnoff. Since his 1992 arrival, Yakov has delighted over three million visitors at his Branson Theater. The entire show reflects this inspirational comedian's unique insights into life, family, and these United States. Yakov landed in this country in 1977 with his parents and less than $100 in his pocket and has become a command performer at the White House, a respected comedic voice, cultural observer, and family man. When Branson's Two-Time Comedian of the Year isn't performing for sold out shows at his theater, Yakov travels and appears at select venues across the United States. Come prepared to share some laughs with Yakov and your SKP friends!

Monday evening offers "The George Dyer Show". In its first year, it was nominated for 11 Show Awards, including "Best New Show". Acclaimed by many as one of the finest tenors in the world, George Dyer adds a polished showmanship and audience connection that will make you feel as if you were on Broadway, in Las Vegas, or at the Met!

Another popular presentation of Ham-O-Rama will take place on Wednesday evening, so come prepared to ham it up a bit. Of course, there are daily socials and Happy Hours with your SKP friends and neighbors! Check back for more exciting details on evening entertainment.
