How to Get to the Fun!

These directions are provided to facilitate your arrival at the 2009 Escapade.  Please be aware, however, that situations may develop which require some adjustments be made to gates or entrance points. Based on weather conditions and/or other parking needs at time of your arrival, the directions may be slightly modified to move you past Clarendon Road and turn you into the State Fair Community College parking lot as a “holding area”.  Please be alert for signs or “flaggers” as you approach the Fairgrounds on West 16^th/Route Y.  Thanks and we look forward to seeing you on the grounds.

Plan to arrive between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM of your designated/registered arrival date.  There will be no parking after 2:00 PM each day. 

DO NOT arrive before your designated/registered arrival date as there are no parking facilities at the Fairgrounds.  You must be registered for a Pre-Escapade HOP or a RV Driving School lesson to arrive prior to Friday, May 22, 2009.

• Exit West off Hwy 65 onto West 16^th St/Route Y;

• Go past Gates 1,2,3,4,and 5;

• Turn South approximately one (1) block past Gate 5 on Clarendon Road (State Fair Community College is on Southwest Corner of this intersection);

• Watch for signs/”flaggers” to direct you for a turn, if necessary, into a “holding” area.
