space. Park on west side of park. Center of town,
2 mi W of US 65 on SR W.

Boonville
Isle of Capri Casino parking lot. 3 mi N of I-70
at exits 101, 103 or 106. Follow the signs to
the casino. When you get to the front of the
long driveway to the casino, don’t go down
that driveway; turn left for 200 yards and turn
right into the more open parking area to the
left of the casino. Park as soon as you get into
the parking lot away from the casino as they
have a major construction addition to the casino
hotel going on and they start work early. Buffet
theme in restaurant changes daily, and it closes
at 9:00 p.m.

Rd. RV sites located on W side of
the street adjacent to a nice city
park. Traveling from the S, stay
on US 65 (not US 65 Bus.) until
you reach the US 65/US 24 split,
then follow above directions.

Gas and restaurants across intersection. From the

WS, all pull-thrus, 30 amp, dump, rest rooms,
showers, Internet access, boating, fishing, canoe/
boat rentals, pavilion, grills, tables. 15% off
daily rate of $15.

back of park and will be on driver’s side if you
enter from 8th St. Space for 1 large or 2 small
RVs. GPS: N38.34450, W92.58014. Free. Note: E
was off October 2008. US 54 Bus. and 8th St.

Fairground park (city). 20 30-amp outlets along
fence around gravel parking lot W of 4-H building.
Outlets are mounted on waist-high fence
posts facing away from parking lot and not
readily visible from vehicle! W at SW corner of
4-H building. City park with ball fields and pool.
Walking track. Electric, $7; pay at office behind
taco place. GPS: N39 03.960, W93 43.934. Exit
49 from I-70, then 5 mi N on SR 13, turn W on
29th/Pine St. W side of town, E side of hwy.
Can also enter from fairground St./SR 13 Bus. in
center of town by turning S on Cypress St., then
W on 29th St. If you are traveling W on SR 20,
follow Bus. 13 through town until you come to
Cypress, then turn S. If you are traveling S on SR
13, watch for left turn on 29th St.

Electric for donation. Water at theater building.
City park with large picnic shelter, rest rooms,
playground. Dump $3. Amish community with
antiques, tours and good food.

Jefferson City
Mira-Osa water access. GPS: N38.49222,
W92.0125. Difficult to spot. The access is from
EBnd US 50 about 12 mi E of Jefferson City and
about 4 mi W of Loose Creek. It’s just before
you get to a gray building that says Excalibur
Sign Company. If you miss the spot, about 1.5
mi further east, directly after the turnoff for US
63 going S to Rolla, there is a quick median
turn-around. Worth finding! Some truck traffic,
but it died out mid-evening.

Walnut St., go 7 blocks across RR tracks and turn
R, go 1 block and park on grass on S side of rest
rooms. No size limit. Pull-thru, 2-day limit, water,

in Mexico S of SR 22. Take Bus. 54 to Lakeview
Rd by a big Presbyterian Church; turn W and go
to Fairground Rd. Turn left. Continue to park
entrance on left.

Moberly
Rothwell park. 660-263-6757. Located W of
Moberly approx 0.2 mi on US 24, on S side (sign
at entrance). Turn S into park. Travel about 100
yards to Riley Pavilion on right. 15 E-only sites,
20/30/50 amp on posts across from pavilion.
Ranger comes around to collect $8. Each site
has individual breakers. If no E, check main
switch handle located at end of sites. Thompson
Campground is about 100 yards farther down
the road with about 25 E/W/S sites. Rate is $15.
Call to confirm vacancy at campground or that
no special event is scheduled at the pavilion.
Water is available adjacent to Riley Pavilion.
Dump available within the park but not well
marked. Get detailed directions and instructions
from ranger. Open year-round. Big rigs okay at
pavilion; tight at campground.

campground for their patients. Located at exit
44 on I-44. Their rates for dental services are less
than anywhere we have been except Mexico.

Parking lot along US 54 in front of Consumer’s
Grocery Store, former Wal-Mart, and assorted
small shops. Frequently used by RVers and 18-
wheelers. Favor former Wal-Mart side. Lots of
room, reasonably level, quiet. Grocery is rather
good. Wal-Mart is about 1 mi northeast. If you
stay there, favor their E edge, beyond employee
parking and the entrance road from the water
tower.

with the police department. From US 24 Bus. in
town, turn east on E. Caldwell St. Fairground
and park are at the end of the street.

Three Rivers State Wildlife Conservation. Go 3 mi
S on US 71, turn E on County Rd ‘TT’, proceed
4.7 mi to camping on left, beside metal barn.
Ignore sign at 1 mi, then at 2.6 mi jog R then L.
No size limit. Back-in sites, 14 days, gravel access
and parking, pit toilets, lots of hiking.

Ruth and Ray Sidney #11776. Outdoor World
Bass Pro Shop, downtown, close to intersection
of Hwy. 13 and 60 at 1935 S Campbell, just W
of Wonders of Wildlife museum. SW parking lot
has “RV Parking Only” spaces for overnight free
parking for any size RV. If unable to find space,
go to customer service counter. Plan on taking
hours to see this.
