NASCAR LAS VEGAS HOP 2007
Excitement was building as the 62 HOP participants arrived for the NASCAR races at the new and improved Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The weather was perfect for this HOP, and the races were thrill packed with new tract records being set for speed and also the most wrecks. We even saw a car finish second as he crossed the start/finish line backwards after bumping the winning car. The Thunderbirds from nearby Nellis Air Force Base put on an awesome show and we were treated to a performance by the Blue Man Group.
Tours to the Kroyer Racing Engines Shop, the South Point Racing Shop, a truck shop and Shelby Enterprises proved to be very exciting and informative.
