There were 98 attendees at this wonderful NYC HOP where we learned many new facts about NYC, watched in awe as the story of Lion King unfolded before our eyes, and ate to our hearts’ content at American Family Campground, where the food was abundant and often better than what we get at home. Guy and Brenda at American Family Campground are awesome cooks and we couldn’t have gotten better food anywhere else. The food more than made up for the two-hour commute into the city. Our guides were wonderful, knew so much about New York City, and treated us wonderfully.
A great bonus was we were able see more sites up close than we had originally figured on. If you get a chance to go on the next NYC HOP, grab a spot, because it is a great experience, especially if you’ve never been there.
Thank you to the hosts Joe and Jan Tenpenny who did a magnificent job! And thank you to all those who helped out in any way during the event.
