Niagara Falls 2nd Honeymoon HOP

June 25 – July 1, 2012

Hosts: Jim and Lisa Koca #86367

Niagara Falls has got to be one of the most beautiful places to see in the world. Have you been there? If not or if you want to go again we have set up 4 fantastic tours for you to enjoy. Along with all the catered meals, camping and Escapee friendship, it can’t be beat. And you don’t have to be on a honeymoon to enjoy this HOP. Who knows maybe a future honeymoon might get arranged during the HOP. You never know.

Welcome to the “Honeymoon Capital of the World”.  Some say Aaron Burr’s daughter, Theodosia started the Niagara Falls Honeymoon tradition in 1801 with her new husband; others attribute it to Napoleon Bonaparte’s brother Jerome, who honeymooned here in 1804.  Nevertheless, over 200 years later, over thousands of honeymooners choose a Niagara Falls getaway each year.

Sure most of us have had a honeymoon or two, but how many of us have had one at beautiful Niagara Falls?  What a wonderful location to take your spouse for another honeymoon after all these years.  Some Escapees just may have celebrated their first honeymoon there and would love to re-enact it once more, while others have always wanted to see one of the Great Natural Wonders of the World for a second honeymoon.

Escapees have set up a six night, seven day fantastic HOP with super tours to see all the great sights that this area has to offer with five catered breakfasts and three catered dinners plus much more.  Read on for more information about this event.

Tour Highlights include:

US/ Canadian Adventure Tour #1

Motor coach and English speaking guide will pick you up at the Hamburg Fairgrounds and depart over the border to Niagara Falls, Ontario. Arrive at Table Rock for views of the Horseshoe Falls and experience the Journey Behind the Falls. (Proof of U.S. Citizenship required)

You will enjoy a buffet lunch overlooking the falls at the Fallsview Dining Room.

You will pass under bridges that raise straight up, see water cascade over Lockport’s famous (flight of five) 1840’s locks and travel through the solid walls of the “rock cut” as your Coast Guard licensed captain describes the Architecture, sights, and folklore along the way.

Then after that you will go to the Murphy’s Orchard for a tour of their farm, take a wagon ride and learn about the Underground Railroad history. Next there will be a guide in period dress get on the coach and give a short driving tour explaining the history of the Underground Railroad in the Buffalo and Niagara Falls region.
