Once again we are offering the fantastic Rose Parade HOP. After listening to so many people who say it is one beautiful sight to behold, we just have to keep letting our fellow Escapees who haven’t had the opportunity to go there, another chance. This HOP will be unique in the fact that the Parade will be held on Monday rather than the normal Sunday. Whenever the first of January falls on a Sunday they move the Parade to Monday. It doesn’t happen very often. It certainly won’t change the beauty of the Parade.
The theme for this year is Just Imagine and features spirited marching bands from throughout the nation, majestic floral floats, and high-stepping equestrian units.
Together you will experience the magic surrounding the historical Rose Parade with its unforgettable shows of talented artists, musicians, riders, dancers, and auxiliary performers.
We have secured full-hookup camping at Valencia Travel Village, Rose Parade tickets, Bandfest tickets, and Equestfest tickets. We will also be going to the La Brea Tar Pits this year.

Float Decorating
If you would like to volunteer to help decorate one of the floats, you will need to come in at least a day early and be willing to spend at least four hours minimum on December 29.
Early Arrival/Staying After
If you’re interested in arriving early or staying late, call 888-757-2852 or 936-327-8873 to make your reservation. You’ll pay Valencia directly when you arrive for any extra nights at a price of $35.00 per night, tax included.
Dog-Walking
The RV Park has dog-walking services by a woman who lives onsite. The price for this service will be $5.00 per walk. Call the park directly for this service at 661-257-3333. Make sure to let them know you are with the Escapees HOP event.

Registration Includes:
Two catered dinners, one pot-luck dinner, motorcoach transportation to all events, camping, tips for bus driver and all meals, souvenir pins, Souvenir book, HOP hosts, and more.
By your attendance at this event, you are agreeing to the following:
As an attendee, you assume all risk and danger relating to your personal property, RV, and attendance at this HOP event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event. In the event of loss or theft, no claim will be made upon Escapees, its volunteers, employees, or agents. Volunteers may be directing and assisting you in your parking areas. It is, however, the driver of the RV or other vehicle who is ultimately responsible for avoiding obstacles or dangerous situations and is solely responsible for any damage to one’s property or the property of others. As an attendee at this event, you are granting your permission to be filmed, videotaped, audiotaped, or photographed, and granting full use without compensation.
Cancellation Insurance
Optional cancellation insurance is also available through Peterson Travel Services, CM #32. Please note that if you or a family member has a pre-existing condition, it must be purchased within 21 days of your initial registration with Escapees. Minimum registration must be met for each HOP event; otherwise, the event will be subject to cancellation. Full refunds will be given.
HOP CANCELLATION POLICY
A 10 percent cancellation fee of the full registration amount will be deducted from any refunds 61 days or more prior to the event, unless stated otherwise. There are no refunds 60 days or less prior to the event. For events booked through a travel agent, or for rental of equipment, or for events not booked through Escapees RV Club, the cancellation policy of that entity supersedes the HOP cancellation policy.
We are not responsible for any costs you may incur due to inclement weather or other events that are beyond our control.
