Once again, we have found a great cruise for Escapees members to enjoy in the winter of 2009. Sailing round-trip from New Orleans, LA, onboard the Norwegian Cruise Line ship Norwegian Spirit, you will enjoy beautiful ports such as Costa Maya, Santo Tomas De Castilla, Belize City, and Cozumel. Owned by Star Cruises of Malaysia since March 2000, Miami-based Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is notable for revolutionizing the cruise experience by introducing "Freestyle Cruising," which translates to dine-as-you-like options by way of a variety of restaurants and your choice of casual or formal attire.

A deposit of $250.00 per person is due at time of reservation. Final payment is due October 21, 2008.

RV Parking

Clearwater RV Park in Carrier, MS, has offered special pricing to our group for an 11-day stay for the price of $170.00 plus 7% tax.  You can combine the 11 days any way you’d like: stay two days before the cruise and two days after the cruise, or stay one day before the cruise and three days after, etc.  Any extra days will cost $20.00 plus tax.  Should you wish to stay in the area and explore, they have a great monthly rate of $321.00 plus electric (tax included).  Plus you get the use of two of their washers and driers, no charge.  Check out their website by clicking on their name above.  You can make reservations by calling 601-749-8142 and ask for Cheryl and let her know that you are with the Escapees RV Club.  They are located approximately 58 miles from New Orleans.   This is the best price we could find in the area.  For your information, the state parks will not allow you to leave your RV unattended for more than a 24-hour time period.   

You can also park your RV at Magnolia Lake RV Park in Livingston, TX, for $5.00 boondock or $10.00 per day with electric, and then fly out of Houston.  To make reservations to park your RV in Livingston, please call 888-575-2582 or 936-327-2582.

Parking at the Pier in New Orleans

Parking is available at the Port of New Orleans for both autos and RVs.  The price as of March 24, 2008, for an auto is $14.00 per day, for an RV is $24.00 per day.  They do not accept reservations; you just drive up and pay when you arrive.  The number for the pier parking is 504-525-5476.  You can visit their website for additional information by clicking on their name above (Port of New Orleans).
