Hatch, UT Outdoor Adventure HOP

Hatch, Utah here we come. Escapees have set up another great time at Hatch, Utah where they assure us that everything is a go. They tell us that the campground and the surrounding mountains and valleys are just waiting for you. So all you ATV and 4x4 aficionados mark your calendar for a rip roaring time in the mountains of Utah. There are some great trails to explore.

The owners of the campground are super people and even do our catered meals for us. If anyone is interested in horseback riding they have that available also. There will be one or two sunset runs where you will be on top of a mountain just as the sun goes down. (It is beautiful). Oh, if you like fishing you will be in the right place as they have a creek with good fishing right in the campground. Of course you will need to get a license, and if you need help getting it you can go to their store and the owner can help you get it on the internet.

These rates are for guests with NO pets. Pet rooms require refundable deposit and $5.00/day surcharge.

We do request that you have either a CB radio or a family radio with multiple channels in your 4x4 vehicle. A CB is preferred.

Rigs are welcome to arrive at any time prior to the HOP or stay after the HOP. You can arrange your stay other than the event by calling Riverside Resort at 435-735-4223. Make sure to let them know you are with the Escapees RV Club when you call.

Also, if you have Escapees friends that you would like to be parked near at Riverside Resort, if you haven’t done so already, please let us know by calling Kim at 888-757-2582 or 936-327-8873, or e-mail Kim at registration@escapees.com. There is no absolute guarantee, since the RV sites are pre-booked, but we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Fishing license:

In order to fish, even in the water here on the campground property, you MUST have a fishing license. You can only purchase a license on line; you can not purchase a license at a store. If you do not have access to the internet, go to the campground office and Tammi will help you with getting a license. To get a license, go to www.wildlife.utah.gov and follow the links for licenses. Cost is $12.00 for a one day, $32.00 for a 7 day, and $70.00 for an annual. If you get caught fishing without a license, they will take you MH/Trailer and vehicle and put you in jail.

Registration includes seven nights full hook-up camping, five catered dinners, five catered breakfasts, one catered continental breakfast, souvenir pins, HOP hosts , led 4x4 rides, and ATV rides.

Minimum registration must be met for each HOP event; otherwise, the event will be subject to cancellation.  Full refunds would be given.

Cancellation Insurance

Cancellation insurance is available through Peterson Travel Services, CM #32.  If you or a family member has a pre-existing condition, insurance must be purchased within 21 days of your initial payment.  You can get more information about this insurance by calling John or Dorothy Peterson, SKP #81699, of Peterson Travel Services, at 800-737-6435, or email them at dorothy@petersoncruises.com.

Physical Needs for HOP

Escapees Inc. will attempt to provide reasonable accommodations for disabled attendees when it is within our control to do so.  We request that you advise us of any special needs as early as possible so we can make arrangements, if possible.  Many of the HOP events include considerable walking and may not be comfortable for all attendees.
