Take exit 117 off I-75 and go west on Raccoon Valley Road, which is also Highway 170. AREA INFORMATION: Two Wal-Mart stores are near the park, Numerous attractions are located within an hour of the park. Start your explorations at the Museum of Appalachia, located only a 7-minute drive from the park. Continue on to visit tourist attractions in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Seveirville before driving through the historic Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Also, there is an annual craft fair, "Tennessee Homecoming", each October. Come by Raccoon Valley and get your Escapee hugs in the holler! |
