DIRECTIONS: Coming from east, west, or north: Take 1-10, Exit 44, Hwy 59 south (toward Loxley and Gulf Shores). Continue about 14 miles to County Road 28. Turn right and go about 4.5 miles to the Plantation, on right-hand side. You may view a map of the area.

87 full-hookup sites and 22 ERPU sites. Ten 50-amp full hookup lease sites. ERPU memberships are $14,500.00 with an annual maintenance fee of $750.00. There is a waiting list for EPRU sites. Wireless Internet service is available at your site via Tengo Internet.

Annual festival "Mardi Gras" in February each year. Check the events calendar for exact date and plan to come. Rivers, streams, lakes and ponds, as well as the Gulf of Mexico, make fishing an attraction. There are several golf courses, including one designed by Arnold Palmer. The libraries are well stocked, and musical opportunities range from bluegrass to symphonies. The Whiting Art Center has classes, and there are many festivals, fairs, and celebrations throughout the year.
The park is halfway between Foley and Fairhope. Riviera Centre in Foley is one of the bigger outlet centers with factory-direct prices. Fairhope has two colleges, one with many courses free to Alabama residents.
Mobile, about 30 miles from the park, offers metropolitan services. Pensacola, about 40 miles east of the park, has services for retired military.
Gulf Shores, about 20 miles southeast of the park, is famous for white sandy beaches and a state park. From Gulf Shores, you can take a scenic 22-mile drive to the tip of the peninsula and Fort Morgan.
South Baldwin Hospital in Foley, about 8 miles from the park, has 24-hour emergency care, intensive and coronary care units, outpatient services and physical therapy. Thomas Hospital in Fairhope is a nonprofit, acute-care, general hospital with 150 beds.
