Escapees BOF (Birds of a Feather) groups are comprised of people who share a common interest. In order to belong to a BOF, one must be a member in good standing of the Escapees RV Club. Square dancing and travel-what a combination! A great way to make friends when you're new to an area is to call a square dancer. After an evening of dancing, laughter and fellowship, you're no longer strangers, but surrounded by new friends. The Square Dancing BOF provides a way for square dancers to share special dances coming up.
Robert Ferguson presents an introduction to square dancing (usually on Monday night) at Eastern Escapade, and a dance for experienced square dancers (usually on Tuesday night). Many times the dancers also request another square dance on Thursday night. We have a pizza party and get acquainted time at Eastern Escapade. Good friendships are being formed and we look forward to our once-a-year get together to share and have a great time together. We hope to have square dances at Western Escapade and Fun Days soon.
If you square dance, (or used to), we invite you to join us. We want to know you personally and hear what you are doing. This group is looking for a new leader, if interested please contact Billie Ferguson #43584, 14854 Carter Lake Street, Jones, MI 49061. For more information, please contact:
