RVer Census to collect data on the RV community

Livingston, Texas- December 2018

Escapees RV Club is conducting an RVer Census, open to all RVers. This 27-question survey covers a variety of basic topics with an aim of building a picture of the entire RV community. On average, it takes 7-10 minutes to complete. The census is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/rvcensus

Past survey results have helped Escapees advocate for the rights of all RVers, including:

  • Advocacy efforts in protecting overnight parking options for RVers in Alaska in 2016, when a state-wide ban on overnight parking at businesses was proposed.
  • Conversations with state legislators to encourage a revision of HB-389, a bill that sought to restrict the voting rights of those using mail-forwarding addresses in South Dakota. Revisions were agreed to and approved in 2016, protecting the voting rights of those affected.
  • Ongoing conversations with manufacturers and service providers to gain a better understanding of the RVing community, and improve products and services intended for the community

Data collected in this survey will be available later in 2019.
