Get ready for an adventure in Iceland, a land of fire and ice where steaming lava fields meet towering glaciers, creating breathtaking landscapes of waterfalls and fjords. Here, you’ll have the rare chance to chase the aurora borealis, nature’s own light show.
See Reykjavík, Iceland’s lively capital! Settle in at your hotel and enjoy breakfast before setting out on a walking tour with a local guide. Explore Reykjavík’s old town, from the harbor to the charming city hall, Parliament building, and the historic cathedral. In the evening, join your travel companions for a delicious dinner of Icelandic specialties, then embark on a northern lights cruise across Faxaflói Bay.
The next morning, journey along the famous Golden Circle to visit the explosive Geysir thermal area and Gullfoss waterfall, along with Thingvellir National Park, where you’ll stand at the crest of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Later, stop at the Lava Exhibition Center to learn about Iceland’s volcanic history before heading to Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can walk behind its rushing waters. Spend the night in the countryside, searching for the aurora once more.
Start exploring Reynisfjara, a volcanic black-sand beach framed by basalt cliffs, before visiting the Skógar Museum and the spectacular Skógafoss waterfall. Then, witness the icy beauty of Sólheimajökull Glacier. As night falls, scan the skies for the northern lights.
Continue to Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon in Vatnajökull National Park, where floating icebergs and playful seals await. Later, soak in the warm, mineral-rich waters of the Blue Lagoon on the Reykjanes Peninsula. Although volunteers may be directing and assisting you to your parking area, it is the driver of the vehicle who is ultimately responsible for avoiding obstacles or dangerous situations and is solely responsible for any damage to your property or the property of others.

You accept and assume all risks arising from participation in the event and waive and release all claims against Escapees, Harvest Hosts Opco LLC or its affiliates relating to such participation.

You consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary if you are injured or require medical attention during your participation in the event and agree that you are solely responsible for all related costs.
