Overview

RVers Boot Camp focuses on Operation, Maintenance and Safety and gets right to the heart of using your RV the right way. Expert advice to help you travel safely, maintain your RV, and gain confidence on the road. You'll learn the essentials like tire and weight safety, basic RV systems, fire and life safety, proper towing techniques, and so much more. Take advantage of the classroom environment to connect with fellow Escapees members and experience shared learning through interactive questions during lessons.  Whether you're a new RVer or just need a refresher, we’ve got you covered. Our goal is simple: help you feel confident behind the wheel so you can hit the road and enjoy every adventure.

Boot Camp Schedule

Accommodation is NOT included

RV Campground Parking is NOT included in your Boot Camp tuition fee. You must contact Rainbow's End RV Park directly to make a reservation (details below) or make alternate accommodation arrangements. You do not need an RV to attend. You can register as a Walk-In and stay in a local motel. Boot Camp Check-In will be from 8-9am on Friday, Nov 7th. Class will end at 10am on Sunday, Nov 9th.

Tuition Includes:

More than 20 hours of formal training on essential RV topics

Flashdrive (one per couple) of The RVers Ultimate Survival Guide and many of the slide presentations

Special elective courses for new RVers

Focus groups on motorhome towing and towable RVs

Catered Dinner on Saturday

Social gatherings, including an innovative full-timers discussion panel and Q&A session

Boot Camp Location: Activity Center at Escapees Rainbow's End RV Park, Livingston, Texas

All training will take place in the park Activity Center. You must book an RV site directly through the Campground Office or make alternate accommodations. As an Escapees member, you can stay at Rainbow's End for Boot Camp at the standard member rates. There are 30 and 50amp FHU sites. There is also limited dry camping available and a dump station onsite for an additional fee. If you intend to stay in the park during Boot Camp, contact the park at 936-327-1279 to reserve your site in advance, after you sign up for Boot Camp. Feel free to come to the park early or stay on after Boot Camp, but be sure to reserve early, as site availability is limited. You may also stay at an area campground and drive in.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing and emailed to registration@escapees.com.

Cancellations before Tuesday October 7

A cancellation fee of $25 will be deducted from your refund.

No refunds after October 7

NO refunds will be given after Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Transfer

If you cannot attend the Boot Camp you originally paid for, you may transfer once to another Boot Camp, but there are no refunds after this transfer.

Please be on time to class so as not to disrupt others. All sessions are optional.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed in the Activity Center, except for service dogs. No therapy animals permitted.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate special requests. If you have special dietary needs, bring your food and enjoy it with us!

By registering for this Boot Camp, you are representing and agreeing to the following:

You accept and assume all risks arising from participation in the event and waive and release all claims against Escapees, Harvest Hosts Opco LLC or its affiliates relating to such participation.

You consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary if you are injured or require medical attention during your participation in the event and agree that you are solely responsible for all related costs.

You grant your permission to be filmed, videotaped, audiotaped, or photographed and grant to Escapees full use thereof without compensation.
