As a weighmaster for the Escapees SmartWeigh program, I’ve had the opportunity to handle and evaluate a lot of tire pressure gauges over the last 10 years
The program owns several cali-brated air sources, and we test RVers’ gauges at rallies and events. More than half that we test are inaccurate, and many are pure junk. Imagine my joy in finding a really nice digital gauge that is accurate and thoughtfully designed with RVers in mind! The Tire Minder gauge has a backlit digital display, is made entirely of metal (not plastic), and it comes with a pair of AAA batteries, a sturdy nylon storage case and two interchangeable heads. Pick the air chuck head that works best for you, and use the built-in LED flashlight to help you find the tire valve stem. It will measure pressures from 10 PSI to 150 PSI, and in our tests, it was amazingly accurate across the entire pressure range. It also comes with a five-year full-replacement warranty! I think I will retire my cherished old analog trucker’s gauge in favor of this new digital device. Maybe you should, too.
